Stage 2 (Years 3 & 4) have the opportunity of attending a camp run by Outdoor Education NSW over two days and 1 night with overnight cabin style accommodation. When: Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th September 2018 Where: Nepean River School Camp Cost: $193 (includes all activities, camp staff, accommodation, meals and transport costs) The camp focuses on developing self-esteem, self-confidence, co-operation, care, respect and responsibility. It provides opportunities for children to have fun and develop skills and personal qualities through interaction and challenge in the outdoors. Outdoor Education has been running camps for over 20 years. Its highly trained instructors take pride in the way they deliver their activities and conduct their groups by putting forth “Challenge by Choice” so all students feel comfortable to develop at their own pace. The children will have an opportunity to challenge themselves and overcome their fears as they tackle a variety of activities. These may include archery, canoeing, giant swing, high ropes, rock climbing, the mud run, a teamwork matrix and flying foxes. Please be aware that the number of children attending are crucial if the cost of the excursion is to be maintained at its present level. A deposit payment of $53 is required to hold your place. This must be paid by Friday 30th March by cash (placed in a labelled envelope and deposited in the box at the office door as no cash will be accepted across the counter), cheque, Eftpos at the office or online. Later payments may be made in installments or by paying the full amount by Friday, 31st August.
